Classification of SE types in Spanish
The types of SE is one of the grammatical subjects that brings more headaches. It is everywhere in the conversation and in many cases, it is not easy to translate it into English.
Both teachers and students, we know that it is a complex content to teach and learn in Spanish. However, we all know that ” SE ” is one of the most used words in Spanish.
In addition, foreigners listen to different SE from the first day they hear a conversation with natives in Spanish.
Our students see types of SE in different situations frequently. Many times they have no meaning in themselves, but they completely change the meaning of the phrase. How complicated! do not?
In general, to learn the types of SE , if foreigners who want to learn Spanish do not have a teacher, they resort to paying close attention to the natives and finding as many examples as possible to remember them in context.
However, if students have teachers like us, we have a responsibility to respond to this difficult content with as simple explanations as possible with each use of SE .
