ELEMENTOS PARA APRENDER ESPAÑOL

In this post we would like to show you the elements to learn Spanish in adulthood that most influence your learning.
These factors are: motivation , aptitude and a support guide . As a Spanish student, it is very important that you think about them and how they affect your learning , as they are decisive in language acquisition.
1) The motivation
The motivation has to do with the need you have to learn Spanish and the benefits you get from it. For example: your partner is Spanish-speaking, your grandparents were Hispanic, you are going to live in a Spanish-speaking country or you are an expatriate. You can also feel motivated to learn Spanish because it is an advantage when it comes to getting a better job or for your professional career.
If you are motivated, you will have energy and desire to want to learn Spanish and want to make it happen. You will turn it into something dynamic and you will make Spanish present in your day to day.
2) The aptitude
It is not enough just with motivation, you also need your ability to learn to be valid.
Fitness has to do with your abilities, skills and way of learning. It is also to be aware that a lot of will and perseverance is necessary , since learning a language is a major career. Therefore, your willingness to learn Spanish must be positive.
The aptitude, in addition, can work. That is achieved with a lot of practice and knowing how to learn efficiently according to your abilities. Knowing what your learning style is , how you better retain information (memorization, association, visualization, etc.) and how to enhance your skills and abilities according to your personality , you will achieve your goals.
3) A guide
It is very important that in your learning process you have a guide, a support person to help you improve and move forward .
For the learning to be satisfactory, it is not enough just with motivation and aptitude. You must have at your side a person (couple, friend, teacher / tutor) who directs and guides that learning and, above all, that empowers it. Therefore, it is very important that your guide is very connected with you. You should know your motivations and skills and get the most out of them .
Your guide should also facilitate the practice. It should help you put into practice everything you learn theoretically. Also, you have to correct your mistakes and enhance your skills and abilities. You must learn by doing (speaking, writing …). It’s all about practice, practice and more practice. Remember that the ultimate goal of your learning is communication .
